CAD (Central Appraisal District) advises they only upped the values about 2% overall.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Courier New'; COLOR: black; FONT-SIZE: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'"&gt;&lt;FONT size=5&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;
&lt;P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal&gt;&lt;BR&gt;My thoughts you ask?&amp;nbsp; Property Values have decreased more than 2%. Taxpayers have a very limited window to request a protest.&amp;nbsp; Must be filed by June 1 or 30 days from the receipt of the notice. Question we should all ask, can I sell my house for what CAD has it valued at? &lt;BR&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

		<content type="html">&lt;P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;&lt;FONT face=Calibri&gt;Howdy all!&amp;nbsp; I was reading the recent reviews of Mayor Cooks state of the city address.&amp;nbsp;And for the record I was not there.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;So some are to think the address was timed to benefit his reelection?&amp;nbsp; While this blog is not supporting any mayoral candidate, I am wondering if the Central Appraisal Districts mailing of the notice of appraised&amp;nbsp;value are also late to benefit the election.&amp;nbsp; Surely surely not.&amp;nbsp; I have not heard anyone addressing the&amp;nbsp;state of property taxes as they presently are.&amp;nbsp; Plans are not to increase taxes with budget cuts and restraints &amp;nbsp;but will we see significant increases in value to help revenues?&amp;nbsp; I think a lot of us are waiting.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
